I’ve been looking for a sudo for Vista for a long time now. I was so excited when I found it, I neglected to notice my ice cream was melting into my lap. Stupid dorm heating.
The only problem with this Start++ is that it the installers runs it to add its hooks or whatever, but it fails to, so it doesn’t initially work:
C:\>sudo cmd
’sudo’ is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
Once I ran the configuration utility it worked fine:
C:\>sudo cmd
Start++ executing command
Its only differences from sudo seem to be it branches into another process instead of remaining in the same thread, and it can’t run internal commands, only programs.
C:\>sudo echo !
Start++ executing commandThe system cannot find the file specified.
