it's been working great for me for a while, but in the last week or so I've had an 'unable to check status: Connection timed out. (Visit site?)' error on Gmail. I'm using v1.3.0.11.

I have problems with OneNumber constantly for at least a few months. It usually hangs after some time and starves cpu (100%). Also I noticed bug traffic between one number process and browser process (not sure what are they sending). I'm on WinXP, chrome beta (but this is not so important as the problem is for a really big period of time).

As of source of the problem, I have no idea, but my guess is, that it can be somehow related to long running chrome processes and/or hibernation. I usually only hibernate my computer and browser is running at least week in a row. The OneNumber hangs only sometimes, probably around one time a day.

I'm seeing consistent time-outs on the Gmail Atom Feed. If I remove the trailing slash from line 5 of gmail.js:

this.feed = this.url + "mail/feed/atom";

it works great and reliably.
(I assume similar change needs to happen at line 171)

Thanks for all the work; this extension has proved invaluable.

Hi, Dan. You are doing a really good job and the extension is excellent. I love it all the time. But the reason I write a comment here is to report a defect. Sometimes I found my computer running with a CPU usage of 100%. I looked at Windows Task Manager and Chrome Task Manager, and found that's One Number. If I end it in chrome, the problem will be solved. That happened several times. The environment is Chrome Dev 5.0.335.1 and latest One Number currently, and it had happened on earlier versions. Thank you. Have a good day.
